Your donation to the Safe Home Safe Pet Fund will aid victims of domestic violence by providing shelter and medical aid to their pets while the victim struggles to escape their abuser and regain their life. The Salem Animal Rescue League provides a safe harbor for these animals thus allowing the client, through specific guidelines, to keep their pets as they reestablish their lives.
Since its founding, this fund has grown to include victims of foreclosure, and as an aid to our servicemen and women being deployed. We are listed in a national and regional directory for our work in this area of domestic violence prevention.
We accept tax deductible contributions on line through PayPal and by mailing your check directly to our shelter.
