Monthly Ongoing Events

pennyPennies for Paws

Consider collecting pennies for our puppies. A penny drive in your school, office, neighborhood or local church can help us support our efforts to save more dogs. Pennies add up! We are happy to roll any loose pennies dropped off at our shelter. Participants are asked to bring their pennies to the rescue league anytime during open hours or call us at 603-893-3117 for a pickup. This is a word of mouth campaign so please tell your friends, neighbors, fellow employees all about it. Never underestimate the power of the penny!

Animal Talk Coffee Hour

Held on the fourth Saturday of each month from 10 – 11 AM. During the coffee hour an overview of the organization is presented as well as a tour of the facility. Newspaper Recycling Program

The Salem Animal Rescue League is going green! In an effort to help our animals we have placed a NEW paper recycling collection receptacle in our parking lot. All newspaper collected will not only help the environment by keeping material out of our landfills but we will receive a fee for every ton of paper we call to have picked up. White paper and newspapers are accepted. Please no colored paper or plastic coated materials. Organize a paper drive and bring your paper to the shelter and dispose in the bright yellow container to help the animals.
